This statement describes which personal data WTES processes when you visit this website, download the catalogue or send a message.
Which data we process
When you complete the contact form or the catalogue form, we process the details you enter yourself: your name, email address and, if you provide them, your company name, phone number and the content of your message. We also record the time of your request and an encrypted derivative of your IP address, solely to prevent abuse of the forms.
What we use that data for
We use your details to answer your question, to send the requested catalogue and, where necessary for handling your request, to contact you by phone. We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not sell it.
Legal basis
Processing rests on your consent (which you give explicitly when submitting) and on our legitimate interest in being able to answer business enquiries.
Retention period
Messages from the contact form are kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact. Catalogue requests are kept for a maximum of one year. After that we delete them.
Who receives your data
Your message arrives in the WTES mailbox. For sending email and for hosting this website we use service providers who act solely on our instructions, within the European Economic Area, and with whom a data processing agreement has been concluded. To secure the forms we use a bot protection service that does not build visitor profiles.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and transfer your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Send a message to the email address at the bottom of this statement. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security
This website is only reachable over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the messages received is limited to the staff handling your question.
