Privacy statement

This statement describes which personal data WTES processes when you visit this website, download the catalogue, send a message or request a quote for a heat pump or air conditioning.
Which data we process
When you complete the contact form or the catalogue form, we process the details you enter yourself: your name, email address and, if you provide them, your company name, phone number and the content of your message. If you request a quote for a heat pump or air conditioning, we also process your phone number and postcode and, if you provide them, the type of home, the year it was built, your current heating system and any further details. We also record the time of your request and an encrypted derivative of your IP address, solely to prevent abuse of the forms.
What we use that data for
We use your details to answer your question, to send the requested catalogue and, where necessary for handling your request, to contact you by phone. For a quote request, we also use your details to call you about your requirements, to prepare a tailored quote and, if you decide to go ahead, to schedule and carry out the installation. We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not sell it.
Legal basis
Processing rests on your consent (which you give explicitly when submitting) and on our legitimate interest in being able to answer business enquiries. We process a quote request because this is necessary to prepare a contract at your request.
Retention period
Messages from the contact form are kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact. Catalogue requests, and quote requests that do not lead to an order, are kept for a maximum of one year. If a quote request leads to an order, we keep your details for as long as the law requires, which for our financial records is seven years. After that we delete them.
Who receives your data
Your message arrives in the WTES mailbox. We share a quote request only with the technicians who carry out your installation. For sending email and for hosting this website we use service providers who act solely on our instructions, within the European Economic Area, and with whom a data processing agreement has been concluded. To secure the forms we use a bot protection service that does not build visitor profiles.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and transfer your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Send a message to the email address at the bottom of this statement. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security
This website is only reachable over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the messages received is limited to the staff handling your question.
